A Year...

A year is a long time.
It doesnt take much time for memories to fade.
Chances are there isnt anything left to remember.
But then all depends on which side of fence you are.

A year is a long time.
Life is so fast, with so many things on to-do list.
A constant over-writing of memories, discarding away not so good ones.
But then all depends on what you wish to save.

A year is long time.
There is no time to look back.
A slight pause and you may find yourself alone.
But then all depends whether you live life backwards or forward.

A year is a long time.
Either you reach what you aimed for.
Or You end up being more miserable than last time.
But then all depends on how you see it

A year is a long time.
Long enough to plan out things.
And short enough to stop worrying about it.
But then all depends on what you want to do about it.....

Hyderabad II

5)The Thirteenth floor

The thirteenth floor of my office building was the best place . It hosted the canteen and the view while having lunch was terrific. Especially in the monsoon, with rains lashing against the glass walls, and clouds around you, I knew i was going to miss the thirteenth floor. Some of my posts were written sitting on this very floor. The early lunch , the evening snacks, the live cricket matches, - all were so refreshing. I felt on top of the world. Momentarily.

4)The hussain sagar.
The place to be every sunday evening. It had everything around it. The long drive along the necklace road. The enchanting eat street. The sheer pleasure of feeling the fresh air around hussain sagar. Or the beautiful view from tank bund. And then there was the Prasadz. The perfect recipe for a perfect sunday.
But there are still things left to do. Like i have never visited the Buddha statue in the middle of the lake. Neither have i gone to "water front". May be next time.

3)Hyderabadi Biryani!!
No one makes it like the way they make it in Hyderabad. Especially in 'Paradise' . I can stay hungry the whole day, just to go to paradise in evening and have a wonderful biryani. And then end it with a 'Khubani ka Meetha' with ice cream. Simply delicious.
Going to paradise to eat biryani used to be favorite favourite evening time pass. It was paradise.

2)The people
I had the pleasure of meeting very interesting people. Some from nagpur, whom otherwise i would have never met, some from hyderabad, some who came from distant places in search of destiny. I guess I was lucky enough to meet only good people. The wonderful time i had still remains with me as beautiful gift that i treasure.

1)Bhagyanagaram
Somewhere down the line, after spending enough time in hyderabad, i realised that Hyderabad was previously known as Bhagyanagaram. The fortune city. A prosperous city. Like so many other people, i was also here trying to find what i was destined for. There were highs and there were lows. Some things gained, some lost forever. Bhagyanagaram continues to enchant.
