A New Beginning

As i lay awake today,
Waiting for the inevitable truth.
You sleep oblivious,
Waiting to start a new life.

As i wonder if its for real,
As i struggle to be stable.
You float around in the dream world,
Ready to turn it into real.

As i get ready to live another day,
I wonder if i had to see this day.
I try to pass it as just another day,
Knowing its just not gonna be another day.

I have kept my tears with me since long.
Every time carrying them over to tomorrow.
As i try not to cry today,
I may just be able to do that.

For each tear that i have today,
I know you had hundred.
For all the mistakes that i did,
I know you had to pay for it.

And on this day today,
Seeing You happy makes me feel good.

Life has turned out to be different,
a lot different from what we had expected.
How i wish it had turned otherwise.
